Happy Bday Chennai :)

My favourite city is another year old. I remember blogging about Chennai exactly a year back. Chennai is as beautiful as ever, young, fresh green as ever and guess what Chennai is a beaming 370 yrs old :) ( August 22 1639)

The city has grown a lot over times & has played a part in several historic events, even if they were more of a backstage. But hey! that's Chennai for you, It is not prone to racuous celebration or extravagance; its a lot like the ppl..down to earth :):)

Alright ok ok, I'm exaggerating. Once in a while, actually more than once in a while, I can't help thinking that the city's birthday could do with a little more celebration. I believe that something more should be done more than just wishing a happy Madras day. Dontcha think? One day, Madras Day may see an extravagent celebration, but until then, I'll have to be content with this photos that I saw from the Chennai Sangamam!

A moment of your life.....

Amma & i had a conversation yesterday and she was stating a quote that she read somewhere. "The most precious thing you can give to anyone is a moment of your life, coz once they take they take it forever"

How true !! We do not remember days, we remember moments!!

Every moment we pass, we pass it away from our lives & get a moment closer to death. And if life is considered to be the most precious thing on this planet everrr, then, arent the moments that unite to, to make us a life, are the paramount we can recieve and the paramount we can offer ???!!!???

Not many will come to you and tell you how profoundly they feel for you. We're all self-seeking beings you see !!! :):):) Heck, how many do you believe would like to be hot and bothered to feel for you ??? Just reckon and see, the integer will be appalingly meagre...true aint it?

So lets pledge, that, when someone gives you a moment of love, keep it, revere it, and at least acknowledge if not able to return it. Coz, in that instant they are giving away a little of their lives, which you can never furnish them back.

Rear ends are apparantely sweet :P:P

I happily happily hogged on my chocolate truffle (yummmmmmmuyyyy….) and spoke to my friends in monosyllables with mouth full of chocolate cream. They were teasing me but little did I care….i looooove chocolate truffle and it was yummy :)……
I was standing in front of this shop, which had mannequins stationed outside and I was standing next to one while still hogging.
Ok Now...Suddenly I feel something around my waist and then something touch my ….ahem…rear..serious!
My friend guffawed…..and doubled up with laughter….
Startled, I turned to see what the hell just happened….I was confused to an extent that i thought i was losing my mind....and moreever yesterday i realised i had Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia!!!!!! and nothing quite registered coz I only saw a kid running away…..
But my friend was kind enough to end my confusion and supply me with an explanation…..rather very loudly!!!!!!!!
“THAT KID JUST KISSED UR ASS!!”
Enough said!!
p.s: for those who are curious, the kid was a girl….must be 5-ish …..now don’t ask me why she did it…..I HAVE NO FRIGGING CLUE!! my friend added that the kid prolly mistook me for a mannequin...whatever!
Ahh….the cons of having a sweet ass!! :D :D :D
